Artist Bio: "I design my pieces to be as beautiful as the women who wear them."
ROBIN HALEY earned a fashion degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA in 1980. She then apprenticed for three years in Calabasas, CA with the prestigious Bertonneau Jewelers. Her experience there was focused on one-of-a-kind custom pieces made from the lost wax method and metal fabrication. She is noted for her unique use of diamonds, precious stones, pearls and metals.
Robin began her own business in 1984 in Los Angeles, CA. She designed and manufactured her own jewelry and sold to Nordstrom's, Fred Segal Hollywood and Malibu, Sara on Montana Avenue, Burbank Universal and Warner Brothers Film Studios as well as numerous other venues. She was represented by Christopher Enterprises in the early 1990s, who selected her designes for Harold's Catalog and higher-end stores and boutiques across the country. Her designs were seen in numerous major network shows including Dynasty, TJ Hooker, Dallas, and various other daytime dramas and feature films. Some of Ms. Haley's celebrity clientele included Heather Locklear, Mickey Rooney, Donna Summer, Linda Evans and Jane Seymore.
Another talent Robin developed while living in Los Angeles was writing songs, and she believed that the Nashville country scene was the place for her and her music. She moved to Nashville in 1995 to pursue her dream of songwriting. She signed a publishing deal and since then has had much success with many cuts. After 12 years of being in the music business, she decided that her dream of songwriting had been fulfilled. Robin decided that she loved the jewelry business so much that she wanted to focus on reaching her full potential as a designer.
Currently, she's created two lines, one is a line of fashion jewelry made of semi-precious stones, pearls and metals. The other is a high-end line cast from sterling, 14/18 and 22 karat gold and unusual colored and cut diamonds. Living in Nashville, she's worked with artists Trisha Yearwood, Leann Womack, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Sara Evans, and many more. Additional clientele include Naomi, Ashley and Wynonna Judd and Katherine Heigel from Grey's Anatomy. Her pieces have been seen on the CMA Awards, numerous music videos, feature films, magazines and daytime dramas, and other major network broadcasts. She is currently working with Oprah magazine and other publications. Robin's unique pieces can be found in higher-end stores and boutiques across the country.
