There’s a plethora of 80′s tunes that keep looping in my head… (I won’t mention which one’s because it’s pretty cheesy and embarrassing… but you know the ones… poppy, dance in the street worthy, break out in song… catching my drift? ). Alls to say… I’m thrilled. I’ve been working on this website for months now. It feels like my little baby. I’ve nurtured it, fed it images and words and numbers, bandaged up its boo- boos, woken up in the middle of the night, tapped my anxious fingers as I sat on hold for long periods of time, felt on top of the world when something went as planned (rare!)…and now… the ONLINE SHOP IS UP!!

Loving Miss Gracey

We feel so honored that Gracey Lipman decided to wear the Robin Haley Jewelry 14K Gold Fill Cutout Lotus earring for that special day she married the love of her life, Nick Donahue (A cute wine-making, skate boarding, surfer boy from Califonia). Never shy to put a fashionable foot forward, the Lipman sisters decided to forgo traditional delicate wedding jewelry in favor of bold statement making pieces that reflect their big beautiful personalities.

When Gracey asked us to work with her younger sister and Maid of Honor, the lovely Margaret Lipman, to design her own special earrings – Robin was especially excited for a custom design. Any opportunity to get creative puts an extra sparkle in this designer’s eye.

Margaret’s out-of-the-box, open mind to style proved to be key in creating a fresh look of sea green and gold to accent her brilliant coral dress… absolutely perfect for this late Spring wedding on their father’s farm. We ended up loving their collaboration so much that Robin added the earrings to her line and we refer to them here at the studio as “The Margaret Earring.” The radiant Chrysoprase stone has the unmistakable quality of adding extra radiance to all wearers from fair red heads to dark olive beauties like Margaret, especially paired with the glowing back light of the early evening. Hayley Green and Sheila Goode, the famous Goode Green Photography mother/daughter duo, captured some amazing shots. The combination of their trained eye for stunning photos, the bride’s attention to detail, and the backdrop of the scenic GrayMar Farm… landed Gracey and Nick a spot on the cover of Nashville Lifestyles Wedding Magazine… and we couldn’t be more proud.

Lauren and Paschal of Bloomsbury Farm… Loving the Earth and Loving Each Other

While working with Prema Lauren Jennings and Paschal Jennings on their wedding rings, we couldn’t help but think… “Wow, if only we could all be so cool…” These two have a fairytale story. Their shared love of plants, dirt and bugs (ohhh… the romance) brought them together on one fated afternoon, and with the fluttering of butterflies… it blossomed into both the marriage of two green souls and the creation of Bloomsbury Organic Farms. Their Farm is located in Rocky Fork, Tennessee (615.355.8525) and provides local organic produce from clover sprouts to wheatgrass for healthy Nashvillians, local restaurants & the Franklin Farmer’s Market (where the charming Lauren can be found hand-churning wheat grass in her apron and lacy summer dress).

To top it all off… Lauren’s sister, Abby Palmer, keeps cool in the family. These two sisters are sweet peas in a pod. Abby is the owner of Emmaline Boutique (400 Main Street, Franklin, TN #615-791-6205), a chic shop that brings Soho Style to the South. We are so lucky to be one of Abby’s featured jewelry designers. Summer Wonderful Summer

Here at Robin Haley Jewelry, we love color… and we don’t just mean gems and stones. When I see something that’s beautiful, colorful and full of summer style… its inspiring to our creative senses. This photo is from one of my favorite websites, Kiss the Groom , and it puts coral on my brain.

How cool is this site? It was created with love by amazing photographer Elizabeth Messina…she says it “celebrates life, love and kisses….through photographs and personal insights….honoring weddings, family, beauty and love stories.” Everything Robin Haley Jewelry stands for.

What happens in Vegas… doesn’t stay in Vegas!

When we arrived in Las Vegas for the Couture Show last week… the cool dry breeze greeted us in the usually scorching June desert…a good sign that it was gonna be a great trip. We met new friends from all over the world- Brazil to Japan to St.Louis and everywhere in between, we connected with fellow artisans that we admire and respect… and reunited with familiar, friendly faces from our wonderful stores all over the U.S.

We left the show smiling from ear to ear, and with SEVEN new accounts… including Letran Joyeros, an elegant store owned for generations by the charming Gonzalez Family in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico… and Rubaiyat, a beautiful store in Calgary, Canada that truly appreciates and showcases creative independent artisans. Robin Haley Jewelry now needs a passport!

As I write this… more buyers are emailing us, at the show they were drawn to our booth as they casually passed by, and now are reminded by the little flip books we gave out at the show… that Robin Haley Jewelry is unique and distinct… and perfectly fills a significant niche in their store.
